This is going to be a very short post. We are currently driving through Quebec and I’m typing this on my phone. I planned on bringing my laptop on the trip, but as you will see, forgetting it at home is the least of the week’s weirdness.

In short, it’s been a bad news good news kind of week so far.

Sunday we dropped Tesla off where she will be staying while we are out of town. At midnight we got a call that she had gotten out and was lost. After hours of driving, The Mrs turned down a random street and found her.

Monday we left much later than we planned (see above). At the border we discovered that there is a difference between the driver’s license that allows you to get on a domestic flight and the one which allows you to get across the border. I have a valid passport. The Mrs does not. She turned on the charm and they let us in the country. We are definitely getting stopped coming back in the US.

Tuesday we went on a canoeing adventure. We flipped the canoe in the middle of the lake. Amazingly, both our phones are ok and Ruth held on to the bag with the car keys.

So the take away is that The Mrs is the hero of the trip. I’m hoping that today’s bad news good news issue was that I clogged the toilet and she fixed it.
